Antti Halme a 27 year old professional poker player, started Day 3 as chip leader, with only one stack even close to his 2,602,000. As the field fell to 9, he held on to a lead that really started on Day 1, when, he said, “I late-late registered, then just won all the flips, without that many tough decisions.” Then, on Day 2, his dominant stack gave him good bubble leverage, and it looked inevitable that the MTT specialist would hit the final. Halme first played poker back in 2007, but became a professional in 2013 after education, military service, and a stint with the postal service. This year has been a good one for him, with combined 2017 live winnings of over $130,000.
