Kaemo Suominen is a 56 year old manager of a Bicycle Factory who has travelled from Salo in Finland to play here. He’s been playing poker for 46 years, starting out with traditional games and moving on to more modern variants over the years. He prefers tournaments and has a good tournament history, having won the PAF Poker challenge for €30,448 in 2011 and with two MPNPT cashes under his belt already this year.
His consistency is underpinned by a careful, patient approach. “With the young players, some of them play 8 tables at a time and live can be quite slow so they can be impatient. But you can’t win the tournament on the 1st day or 2nd day! Be patient!”
