Philipp Anger is a 28 year old German from Hamburg who works in a bank fraud department. He’s played poker for eight years but has only got serious about it in the last two years. He mostly plays online – a mix of NLHE, PLO/8 and mixed games – but he’s proved his live poker prowess this week here in Sunny Beach.
Anger really likes the MPNPT tour, having played several legs and he plans to play more, starting with Malta in October. As far as poker goes, his approach is a mathematical one and he hopes this works out well for him on the final.
His biggest result prior to now is $6,000; although he’s coming into the final as the short stack, if he manages to overcome that, today could well see him score his biggest live cash to date.
