British Grosvenor Poker qualifier Robert Bostock entered the day as the chip leader and eliminated all four players before the final table to bring the field from 13 players down to nine.
Bostock was cruising along for a while until he lost two big hands against current chip leader Iva Lazarova.
Bostock’s run at a MPNPT Sunny Beach Main Event title has been dashed. He was down to 10 big blinds and jammed from the small blind with [KcQs]. Dmitri Fomitsa thought for a moment before he decided to call with [KhTc].
The [2d9hJh] flop wasn’t the worst one for Bostock. However, the [6h] on the turn opened up potential flush outs for Fomitsa. The flush was completed after the [4h] spiked the river.
Thanks to a four-handed deal being made Bostock will walk away with a healthy €15,200 or a bit more than the €12,500 original fourth-place payout. Meanwhile, Fomitsa witnessed his stack exceed the 3 million mark for the first time the tournament and is now in second place with three remaining.
Players are now taking a 30-minute dinner break and we expect this to be the last break of the day before someone lifts the trophy.
