Martin Kubosek is rampaging up the chip counts and most recently Nick Phinn became one of his victims, losing out in a four-bet pot preflop with Ad Ks versus Qh Qc.
The board of 5s 2s 6h 5h 5c saw Phinn avoid all his key cards and his stack was swept over to Kubosek, adding more fuel to his ascent up the rankings. He’s now on 85,000 – “hitting everything” apparently!
Phinn stopped off to have a quick post-mortem analysis with pal Richard Clarke, who is contrasting prospering at his tough table – up to 69,000, despite the difficult players populating some of the seats. Well done Richard!
