Welcome back for Day 2 of MPNPT Bratislava where things are coming to a boil nicely. The two opening days’ fields have been whittled down from the 320 entries to just 97 remaining…at the close of last night’s play.
We may see this number increase slightly as registration is open until the start of the day so there is room for a few last minute entries if any players are feeling bold enough to try and spin up their 30,000 into a potentially title-challenging amount of chips.
Will Dorey has no such issues, having gone to sleep with the chip lead – his 242,400 putting him top of the tree. He may have some incipient designs on the trophy but there is some way to go before we can start making predictions about who our next MPNPT champion will be.
He’ll face some stiff competition from the field – with players such as MPNPT Morocco finalist Mateusz Moolhuizen and MPNPT Tallinn winner Keimo Suominen left in contention. It should be a fun day of poker as we play through the ten one hour levels so brace yourself for some sizzling action.
We’re moments away from the start so good luck everyone – the journey to crown the champ continues…
