Hello and welcome to the surprisingly warm Bratislava, Slovakia for the latest leg of the MPN Poker Tour. This picturesque, historic town is a fitting locale to host the event and we’re expecting the usual swathe of eager poker enthusiasts to storm in shortly.
Some quick notes about the event being held here in the Crowne Plaza.
There are the usual two starting days. The €550 tournament has a chunky €150,000 guarantee, meaning there’ll be an array of attractive prizes on offer, though we won’t know the final payouts until registration is fully closed, which will be the start of Day 2 (7th April.) The players have 30,000 starting chips, with 45 minute levels – so should have plenty of leeway to showcase their poker chops before their tournament is done.
The Main Event will be our main focus in the blog, though there are a suite of other side events taking place for any players who find themselves on the rail prematurely.
You can view the full schedule here.
Good luck one and all, we look forward to seeing how the day progresses. We’re moments away from the start…
