Luchishin Doubles; Halme Losing Iron Grip on the Lead

With the blinds now at 30k/60k, ante 5k, Sergey Luchishin moved in from the hijack with Qc-Tc for his last 530k. Two seats over on the button, chip leader Antti Halme reshoved with 8s-8c; everyone else got out of their way, and they proceeded to showdown.

Luchishin doubled up to 1.2 million, still a way off the 1.9 million average. Halme is still the leader after that, but he’s no longer a massive chip monster – he’s on 4 million now, not far ahead of Davis Modans in second place on 3.1 million.
