As the blinds inexorably rise, anything much below the starting stack is starting to look a bit precarious. Good thing this tournament allows unlimited rebuys, eh?
Among those for whom the busted bell may soon toll is Pal Levente, who I found contemplating his options on the river of a 9d Qc 7s 6c 3d board with over 20k in the pot. His opponent James Grogan tossed a pink 5k chip into the middle and Levente duly called, but mucked when Grogan turned over Ah-Qs and is now down to just 8.5k. Grogan is rather more comfortable on a well-above-average 45k.
