Just a couple minutes into Level 10 and we’re down to just 166 players. The most recent casualty was Sasa Lalos, whose last few chips went in on an As Qd Jh flop with Jd-2c. He got looked up by Cosmin Timbus, already ahead with Ac-7h, and the 7c on the turn all but sealed the deal. The requisite third jack failed to turn up on the river, which instead came down the 2h as a kind of last insult to Lalos, and he’s gone. Timbus is now on 180k, one of the chip leaders.
Meanwhile at the bloggers’ desk, the beer fairy seems to have visited while we out on the tournament floor, and things is looking up. Thanks, beer fairy!
