Jaffacake Crumbles

Jeff “Jaffacake” Kimber has toiled patiently in the tournament, looking to build a stack of note, but finally he has played his last.

He faced off against Matti Sahinoja with a decent draw – Ts Js on an 8s 9d 3d board for an open ended straight draw, two overcards and a backdoor flush draw, but was unfortunately up against one of the hands he wouldn’t have wanted to see – the nut flush draw –  Ad 7d – in Sahinoja’s hands.

His pain was to be brief, the Kd arriving on the turn to leave Kimber drawing dead, muttering “nice hand” as he collected his things and departed the table. Sahinoja meanwhile rises to 250,000.
