Hopefully we can get some news of exactly how this seismic shift took place but Colin Guthrie has accumulated a monster stack of 230,000, which may well make him chip leader as we move through the final level.
Also going well is Mantas Urbonas(pictured), who made the final table of MPNPT Tallinn 2016, finishing up third for €18,000. Urbonas has 140,000 at the moment, well clear of the 89,230 average. Tour regular Phil Huxley is another man who’s had a productive few hours, his lucky hat helping him to a rotund 125,000 stack.
David Lappin is treading water somewhat on 46,000 and looking a tad dejected whilst Keimo Suominen is down from his peak but still holding 70,000.
The tournament is into the last few hands of the day. We’ll have updates on the chip leader shortly…
