Gruszczynski Doubles Through Liperis

Your bloggers’ typing muscles will be getting a bit more of a workout today, as Scrabble-crushing monikered Pole Sebastian Gruszczynski has doubled up to stay in the game.

Gruszczynski open-shoved for 322k from the button and was soon met by a reshove from chip leader Yiannis Liperis in the small blind.¬†Gruszczynski’s Ad-8d was ahead of Liperis’ Kh-Qs and despite an exciting flop, he stayed ahead through the turn and river, the board reading 6h-9h-Jh-8c-6s by the end.

Gruszczynski is now up to 712k, while Liperis remains in the lead on 2.3 million.
