Fadhil Farag is on an ominously impressive rise through the chip ranks.
He chipped up nearly a million by peeling with A-6 versus Hsissen, who opened with jacks. Farag managed to find three smallish, but perfectly sized, 200,000 streets of value from Hsissen after an ace-high flop.
Hsissen looked visibly upset after this hand, throwing his jacks across the table in frustration after the bad news at showdown.
Farag won another pot off Hsissen, his small pair just a pip larger than Hsissen’s as the pair battled once more.
He now leads the remaining five players with over three million and Hsissen no longer has a dominant chipstack. Can he shakeoff the mental reverberations caused by this drop down the chip counts?
