Daniel Tighe Misses Out on Final (10th £2,300)

It would have been amazing to see two brothers make it through to the same MPNPT final, but on this occasion, Daniel will have to be satisfied cheering on his brother Cieran from the rail tomorrow.

His exit came courtesy of Cody Wagner – not the first time the pair have tangled – this time a straight flip as his pocket eights faced off against Wagner’s A-T.

An ace arrived to shatter the hopes he would be side by side with Cieran when they returned tomorrow but that hand finally brought an end to the protracted battle for the final table and we had our 9 plucky warriors determined.

We’ll have news of their chip stacks shortly as well as a wrap up of today’s events to come.
