Cieran Tighe Out in 3rd Place (£16,350)

Cieran Tighe had already shoved once three-way but hadn’t got a call. This time, though, facing a raise from Tim Chung in the small blind, Tighe looked down at As-Qh in the big blind and pushed for 1.2 million. Chung called with his pocket 2h-2d, and following a Kd-4h-5s-9s-4s board, Tighe will not be taking home an MPNPT trophy to match the one his brother Daniel won in Dublin back in 2015.

Chung is now heads up with Alex Kong, Chung holding a massive chip lead.
