Champion Pedigree

There are a number of familiar faces nestling in the field for the second day 1, including MPNPT Tallinn winner Keimo Suominen. Suominen has built a reputation on the tour as a tough cookie, following up his win in Tallinn with another deep run in Bratislava that ended up just short of the final table. Suominen now has $200k and rising in live results and we won’t be surprised to see this tally rise here in Sunny Beach.

He’ll provide stiff opposition for anyone unfortunate enough to be drawn alongside him but one player who won’t be cowed is updater extraordinaire turned poker player Jennifer Mason. Mason may be better known for her contributions as a poker journalist but she has proved her skill at the felt over the years and it would be foolish for anyone to take her lightly.

Obviously, as her colleagues and friends, we will do our best to cover Mason’s progress impartially but we hope you’ll forgive us if our dispassionate mask slips occasionally. Go Jen!!!
