There’s some tension out there now with the final table in sight, but it looks like in general, the players are handling the pressure pretty well.
Jonathan Bowers has appeared cool, calm and collected most of the day and despite losing some chips from his high point of 1.5 million, he’s not panicking just yet.
Moments ago, he raised the button to 27,000, only for Daniel Jacobsen to three-bet to 70,000 from the big blind.
Bowers had a little pause, a little think, and pushed out a stack of 25,000 chips, four-betting nominally to around 500,000 – enough to set Jacobsen allin if he took him on.
A wrinkle of the nose from Jacobsen suggested this wasn’t that likely an outcome and indeed he folded too after a brief consideration, leaving Bowers to turn over A-Q as he took the pot down and moved to 1,100,000.
