Baxter Short-Stacked but Avoids Aces Felting

Not letting the glorious glitter of pocket aces blind him to the checking ways of Angus Dunnington, Mark Baxter has swerved his own bust-out with a river check-back.  Dunnington gave him a spin from the big blind preflop, and then check-called his 3,000 on a 2d 4h 2s flop and 6,000 on the 9d turn (after this Baxter had 11,000 behind).  When Dunnington checked a third time on the Qd river, Baxter checked behind and showed Ah Ad, no good against the mighty 9s 2c.

Dunnington: 75,000
