Antti-Climax – Halme Out in 6th (76,000)

It folded around to Antti Halme on the button, and he promptly pushed for around 1.4 million with 7s-7h. Unfortunately for him, Ali Mechiche woke up with Ks-Kd in the small blind and made the call.

No sevens were forthcoming on the Ad-6c-Ah-Ac-9s and Halme had to settle for sixth place, again – his second one in a row, just a couple months after his sixth place finish at MPNPT Tallinn back in November.

Mechiche is now in contention for the chip lead on 2.8 million.
